Hey local folks, I just wanted to put in a plug for my friend Marc’s new store, Bucket O’ Blood Books and Records, located near the California Blue Line stop in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. The store offers an awesome selection of used science fiction, fantasy and horror books, as well as new and used vinyl records. (I stopped in there recently and picked up a copy of Octavia Butler’s Kindred as well as a copy of Nova Swing by M. John Harrison.) He also buys, sells & trades used books and vinyl. Marc is a writer and a long-time fixture in the Chicago punk scene. He’s also one of the discerning and nitpicky folks who help me whip my stories into shape.
